This role will assist in developing and executing email spaneting campaigns, ongoing web development optimizations on aircanadacargo.com, while also managing the website’s content. They will support the evolution of the Air Canada Cargo brand to meet business objectives and collaborate with internal stakeholders within the branch and across the larger Air Canada family to deliver on projects and campaigns for lead generation, and customer engagement.
The ideal candidate excels in a collaborative environment, is comfortable with technical, operational, and creative subject matter and communication, has strong attention to detail, and is a self-starter. Responsibilities:
Email Execute Air Canada Cargo email spaneting campaigns including mass and targeted messages, spaneting automation, programming (using Salesforce Account Engagement and other possible future technologies), deployment, and segmentation that align with customer journey strategies.Liaise with technical teams on integration and migration projects and ongoing digitalization initiatives.Manage the email database to ensure deliverability and provide updated information to internal stakeholders; manage the development of distribution lists and targeting rules, dynamic fields driven by logic roadmaps, preference centre, and other data.In partnership with our legal team and corporate spaneting teams, stay up to date on commercial data protection laws globally to ensure compliance for Air Canada Cargo; Manage global compliance to anti-spam legislation and regulations.Understand and stay current on spaneting communications-related technology and trends to determine their potential impact on our industry and Air Canada Cargo; apply learnings within Cargo.
WebsiteSupport website development projects, and update and manage the content and structure of the Air Canada Cargo website and digital environments.Update new content on the website with support from product subject matter experts (SMEs) to meet the spaneting team and branch objectives.Monitor website content to keep the site current and improve the navigation and the discovery of important content.Gather web metrics to assist with understanding who and how the content is being consumed and ensure that information is shared with relevant parties. Support the improvement of discoverability of the Air Canada Cargo website and content through the use of search engine optimization (SEO) techniques and best practices.Partner with internal departments for cross-functional development and collaboration between the platforms.

QualificationsUniversity degree in Communications, Marketing or equivalent 2 - 3 years of relevant experienceStrong interpersonal communication and presentation skills Strong time management skills with the ability to handle multiple, simultaneous priorities Working understanding of analytics and data manipulation Must have experience with an email spaneting platform; additional experience in spaneting automation is an assetExperience with Salesforce is strongly preferredFamiliarity with Jira is an assetFamiliarity of HTML, and related languages is an assetDemonstrate punctuality and dependability to support overall team success in a fast-paced environment.
